After a week filming in Belize, we joined our friends at Forsyth Audubon in Winston Salem to capture the North Carolina perspective. We visited the historic site of Bethabara and hiked into Pilot Mountain, a 2,421 ft remnant of the ancient chain of Sauratown Mountains. This is the area where the Wood Thrush was banded and captured. Great experience meeting people from the local and national Audubon chapter and hearing their impactful stories.
