The next installment of The Climate Listening Project explores the connections between climate change, business, and community. Today we interviewed two international experts who are based in Asheville, NC, the climate hub of the country.
Amanda Rycerz, a Risk Analyst at Acclimatise North America. Amanda is an expert in climate communication and literacy and making climate data useful and relevant for non-scientific users. Her interest lies in helping clients identify their climate vulnerabilities and engaging partners from distinct sectors in developing mutually beneficial adaptation strategies.
Paula Hennon, the Project Manager for the National Climate Assessment (NCA) Technical Coordination Unit at the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). Paula coordinates NCEI’s NCA activities and resources in cooperation with the US Global Change Research Program’s National Coordination Office.
