Dogwood Alliance is preparing to embark on the SOS (Save Our Southern Forests) Tour! For over 2 weeks, they will hit the road to visit 6 different coastal cities in the South impacted by the biomass industry, connecting with thousands of citizens and dozens of local organizations.
Part of the campaign includes a giant SOS bottle on display, inviting residents to write their own “message in a bottle” to ship overseas to European policymakers. The team at Iron Maiden Studios, in the heart of Asheville’s River Arts District, put the plan into action to design this metal structure. We filmed them at work in this making of this unique project.
